Operations Manager
Andree Walkin joined By Appointment DMC in 2022 as Operations Manager.
Andree is an enthusiastic, personable and highly skilled innovator with over 20 years’ experience in operations, logistics and event management on a local, national and international level. Andree excels in stakeholder engagement and management, project planning and programme design and co-ordination. Andree has accrued a vast array of experience organising and managing large scale events with multinational organisations, sporting bodies, NGO’s, and both National and European agencies. She also has a proven track record in developing novel approaches in leadership facilitation programmes. Her robust background in marketing, PR, social media management and CRM adds to her established competencies. Andree also has a keen interest and vast experience in the adventure tourism industry and has worked consulting and tour guiding nationally and internationally for some of Irelands and world leading travel companies.
In addition to educational attainments at undergraduate level, Andree excelled in her postgraduate academic studies where she won the gold medal for highest QCA in her year at the University of Limerick.
She says her passions in life include travel, sport and outdoor adventure. Her sporting pedigree include high altitude mountaineering, climbing and kayaking expeditions and a European Triathlon Championship age-group medal. When not taking on these exciting challenges you will find her teaching yoga classes overlooking the shores of Lough Derg.
